Pendant sits on a matching gold chain measuring 45cm.

Amethyst is a beautiful purple gemstone which has been used in jewellery since the Neolithic period and still remains popular today.
In Ancient Greece, amethyst was added to drinking goblets to help wealthy lords stay sober when drinking alcohol.
Amethyst is the traditional gift for a 6th wedding anniversary and the birthstone for February.
